Mass-Radius Relation of Neutron Stars

  • I exchanged emails with my advisor, and I found out that I need to calculate a total mass analytically. But, how?
  • I figured out some techniques that simplified equation a bit. But I couldn’t still get an exact solution. I think I need to see my advisor tomorrow.
  • Since I had extra time to study today, I organized some papers and directories. By doing so, I could plan my research progress and set directions for achieving my goal.
  • I got an equation of state for my case using the relation between the pressure and the density. I might need it in the future.
  • Also, I discovered some of the mistakes that I’ve made. So I corrected my previous code and tested it again. It looked like it has a much more desirable behavior, but it still has some discrepancy between other models. I need to find out why.
